About Me

Kerrie Flanagan is a professional freelance writer whose 100+ articles have appeared in various magazines including FamilyFun, SkyWest, Chicago Tribune and Woman's World. She was a contributing editor for Journey Magazine, from July 2006-June 2008. Her monthly column ran for two years in the Fort Collins Coloradoan and five of her touching and humorous essays can be found in Chicken Soup for the Caregivers Soul, Christian Soul 2, and Mother and Son Soul. She is also the author of the educational children's book, Cornelius Comma Saves The Day.

Her passion is to guide writers in their pursuit to become successful writers. It is because of this passion that she started the Northern Colorado Writers , a group devoted to supporting and encouraging writers to reach their full potential. The annual Northern Colorado Writers Conference, will be March 26-27, 2010, at the Fort Collins Hilton.
